DANS LA CHAIR DU DEUIL
DANS LA CHAIR DU DEUIL is a combination of elements composing a story that oscillates between reality and fiction. Between human and robot, the staging diverts the apparent romanticism of the image.
A replica of a hand screwed to the end of a woman’s arm opens a window in which the calm sea is reflected, in the light of the end of the day. An enclosed horizon echoes the absence of a body in an invading chiaroscuro. Between interior and exterior, skin and prosthesis, the image is constructed in a paradoxical dialectic that prefigures the ultimate opposite of existence: life and death.
